ALIAC Welcomes Chiang Kai Shek College Students for “Phoenix for a Day” Experience

ALIAC recently hosted senior high school students from Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC) for its exclusive ‘Phoenix for a Day’ program, a unique initiative designed to offer visiting students an immersive experience of life as an ALIAC student. The program aims to provide schools and students a closer look at ALIAC’s academic environment, complete with enhanced campus tours and hands-on laboratory sessions.

A group of 116 CKSC students took part in the event, which featured an array of exciting activities. The students attended career talks, toured ALIAC’s YS-11 Museum, and explored various cutting-edge facilities, including the wind tunnel, power plant laboratory, and aviation simulators. These immersive sessions allowed the students to delve into the world of aviation, gaining valuable insights into the field.

The highlights of the program included a flight safety demonstration, a behind-the-scenes hangar tour, and the thrilling experience of participating in a Cessna aircraft start-up run-up activity, where students started up a real aircraft under expert supervision.

ALIAC’s ‘Phoenix for a Day’ is an open invitation to schools and students interested in exploring aviation education. Those who wish to schedule a similar experience can contact ALIAC through admissions@aliac.edu.ph.

The CKSC visit was a resounding success, offering students a memorable glimpse into aviation education and further inspiring them to explore careers in the aviation and allied industries.
