1st ALIAC Research Colloquium 2024 Showcases Innovative Student Research

The 1st Research Colloquium for ALIAC Students 2024 was successfully held on May 31, 2024, marked by a showcase of cutting-edge research endeavors by aspiring aviation professionals. Themed “Enhancing quality research outputs through discipline-based, policy-oriented, technology-directed, and innovative research for sustainable development,” the event was spearheaded by the Research Office and the Office of Undergraduate Studies and has witnessed a vibrant display of intellectual rigor and academic excellence.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Ethel Reyes-Chua of the Research Office and Dr. Lina Constante of the OUS, the Colloquium aimed to fortify students’ involvement in research, providing a platform for them to delve deeper into their academic interests and contribute meaningfully to their fields.

The program spotlighted diverse research presentations, spanning crucial domains such as Aviation Education, Aircraft Maintenance, and Engineering and Technology. Notably, the event showcased remarkable contributions from the following winning entries:

In addition to academic accolades, the event fostered a spirit of collaboration and camaraderie among students and faculty members alike. Chairman and CEO of ALIAC, Atty. Gomeriano Amurao, DPA, commended the collaborative efforts and expressed optimism for continued growth within the ALIAC community, “Seeing the research findings generated by our students in this interdisciplinary colloquium makes me extremely joyful. I’m hoping that our collaboration and working relationship will keep going.“
