ALIAC Supports Bacoor Fire Victims through Community Outreach Program
As part of ALIAC’s unwavering commitment to community service and social responsibility, the school recently extended a helping hand to families affected by the recent fire in Bacoor, Cavite. In collaboration with the Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS), the National Service Training Program-Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS), and the student-led community service organization Al Phoenoh, ALIAC packed and distributed 200 relief goods to those in need.
The relief operation, which took place on Monday, September 16, was held at Barangay Talaba 2, where some of the affected families have been temporarily relocated to a shelter. Volunteers, including NSTP-CWTS students, worked tirelessly to pack essential items such as clothes, bottled water, noodles, canned goods, biscuits, and bread. These relief packs, prepared by students and employees who generously donated supplies, were distributed to provide immediate aid and comfort to the displaced families.
Al Phoenoh, known for its dedication to community outreach, played a key role in organizing and distributing the goods. The initiative, spearheaded by OSDS, NSTP-CWTS, and Al Phoenoh, showcases ALIAC’s collective efforts in mobilizing its students and employees to support those affected by calamities. The relief drive not only provided much-needed assistance but also exemplified the spirit of bayanihan, uniting the ALIAC community for a meaningful cause.
This event highlights ALIAC’s dedication to nurturing compassionate leaders and advocates of social change through direct engagement in community service activities.
