ALIAC-Basic Education Department’s scholarship programs aim to provide students — who have outstanding academic performance, exceptional athletic capabilities or talent, or intense dedication to finish their studies — with opportunities to pursue quality education regardless of their financial status.
This is one of our ways of fulfilling our social responsibility.

Academic Scholarships
Our Academic Scholarship Programs are merit-based financial assistance offered to students who demonstrate a high degree of scholastic aptitude and performance. These may be given to both new and current Senior High School students of ALIAC.
Academic Scholarship A
Criteria:
- Must be enrolling in Grade 11
- Must have a general weighted average (GWA) of 98-100 in the previous school year
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 95 in any subject in the previous school year
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must take and pass the entrance examination (for new SHS students only)
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent
- Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Recommendation letter from the class adviser
- Other supporting documents such as a copy of academic and/or co-curricular certificates
Privilege:
- 100% discount on tuition fee and 50% discount on miscellaneous and other various fees
Academic Scholarship B
Criteria:
- Must be enrolling in Grade 11
- Must have a general weighted average (GWA) of 95-97 in the previous school year
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 90 in any subject in the previous school year
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must take and pass the entrance examination (for new SHS students only)
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent
- Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Recommendation letter from the class adviser
- Other supporting documents such as a copy of academic and/or co-curricular certificates
Privilege:
- 100% discount on tuition, excluding miscellaneous fees and other various fees
Academic Scholarship C
- Must be enrolling in Grade 11
- Must have a general weighted average (GWA) of 91-94 in the previous school year
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 88 in any subject in the previous school year
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must take and pass the entrance examination (for new SHS students only)
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent
- Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Recommendation letter from the class adviser
- Other supporting documents such as a copy of academic and/or co-curricular certificates
Privilege:
- 50% discount on tuition, excluding miscellaneous fees and other various fees
Athletic Scholarship
Our Athletic Scholarship program is a merit-based financial assistance offered to athletic male Senior High School students who specifically excel in the sport of basketball.
Criteria:
- Must be enrolling in Grade 11
- Must have experience competing in the basketball event of any division, regional, or national meet
- Must pass a try-out under the supervision of the ALIAC Athletic Director
- Must have a general weighted average of at least 80 in the previous school year
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 80 in any subject in the previous school year
- Must take and pass the entrance examination
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent
- Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Recommendation letter from the athletic director or coach
- Supporting documents as proof of participation in any division, regional, or national meet (pictures, awards, certificates, or any other valid evidence)
Privilege:
- 100% discount on tuition, excluding miscellaneous fees and other various fees
Cultural Scholarship
Our Cultural Scholarship program is a merit-based financial assistance offered to Senior High School students with exceptional talent in the areas of music and dancing.
Criteria:
- Must be enrolling in Grade 11
- Must possess outstanding talent in singing or dancing
- Must pass the evaluation to be conducted by the ALIAC Cultural Director
- Must have a general weighted average of at least 80 in the previous school year
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 80 in any subject in the previous school year
- Must take and pass the entrance examination
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent
- Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Recommendation letter from the talent adviser/trainer or cultural coordinator Certificates of workshops or seminars attended related to music/dance training (those who have this would have an advantage in the selection process)
Privilege:
- 100% discount on tuition, excluding miscellaneous fees and other various fees
No Top-Up Program
Our No Top-Up Program provides opportunities to Grade 10 completers from public schools, who are proven to be financially handicapped, to pursue Senior High School education at ALIAC.
Criteria:
- Must be a public-school Grade 10 completer
- Must be a holder of a government voucher and possess an ESC Certificate
- Must take and pass the entrance examination
- Must be of good moral character as certified by the school principal or guidance counselor
- Must have a general weighted average of at least 88 in Grade 10
- Must not have a quarterly and final grade lower than 85 in any subject in Grade 10
- Must carry the load prescribed for the given school year
- Must come from a family with not more than Php 250,000 of annual household income
Requirements:
- Accomplished application form
- 2×2 photo with white background
- Letter of intent and justification of financial need Copy of Form 138 for the previous school year
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Government-issued ESC Certificate
- Photocopy of pay slip for the last 2 months of both parents/guardian
- Latest tax exemption certificate or Income Tax Return (ITR) of both parents
- Certificate of non-filing of tax or tax exemption from the BIR (only if ITR is not available)
- Photocopy of the contract showing the monthly salary (only for students with parents working overseas)
Privilege:
- 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, and other various fees (except books and uniforms)
